I have been a software engineer and engineering team leader since 1995. I have led and participated in many technology and architecture transformation projects at early stage startups, scale-ups and established tech firm, in California and Europe. I have experienced how impactful for businesses a misunderstood or miscommunicated technical debt can be. I have seen the benefits and necessity of well-managed proactive technical debt.
